Blooms for June 21st market!

We will be bringing the following daylilies to the Lancaster Farmers Market on Saturday!  Come early for the best selection.

Double Old Ivory $3/each

Wineberry Candy $1/each

Prague Spring $2/each

Unknown pink $1/each

We will also be bringing some "orphans" - unknown daylilies that were either unmarked or otherwise not identified. These fans could be anything and are a quick and easy way to start a border or just get some fun surprise blooms!  Just $0.50 each.

Fall Planting

Fall Planting is on!  As we wrapped up the season we had a few stragglers that were not sold. These were moved to a new location which will free up more easy-to-water space closer to the house.

The new planting area has improved soil but it is still acidic from the nearby pine trees. Instead of fighting this I've chosen to just work with it. Once the area is cleared of this summer's produce I will bring in wood chips and pine needles to keep the weeds down and create pathways.

Big Sale!

Big sale today at the Lancaster Market! Selling daylilies by the fan starting at just $0.25!  Which varieties? Who knows!

This is a grab bag special - lots of odds and ends and many unnamed types. Mystery special for just $0.25/fan.

 

Our biggest sale is Coral Spider - normally this very expensive variety is hard to find. But we'll have it for just $2/fan!
